Product Management and Design Thinking
Question: "What's the difference between product management and design thinking? Do you have a course on design thinking?"
Design thinking is a rebranded and simplified version of the classic product delivery process, combined with market-driven product management concepts, notions of the Voice of the Customer (VOC) process, and later on some ideation techniques.
Design thinking is more of a framework than a method, and can be ostensibly viewed as an elaborate and more structured approach to brainstorming.
Blackblot teaches in detail and with full practical rigor the elements that design thinking espouses in the Blackblot Strategic Product Manager™ (SPMR) course, with the topics fully covered in the Procedural Requirements Management™ (PRM) course module.
