Information in a Product Management Résumé
Question: "What do product managers needs to have in their résumé?"
Product managers need on their résumé information that addresses four factor groups: Domain Expertise, Functional Expertise, Soft Skills, Strategic Aptitude. All this information needs to be presented in a hybrid résumé that is both chronological and performance based. Furthermore, product management is comprised of two disciplines, product planning and product marketing, and therefore we commonly see two different job descriptions that are skewed to either one of the disciplines.
