Product Strategy and Marketplace Success
Question: "Is there any proof that the correct product strategy will yield marketplace success?"
There are no reliable and scientifically valid statistics that show causality between success or failure and the product delivery strategy. Because there are so many contributing factors and variables it will be inevitably impossible to show causality.
The matter of a product strategy being time-tested cannot be proven, and this is particularly true for anything relating to business and social studies.
There are anecdotal examples of companies who have failed or succeeded by using a certain product strategy. But using singular examples to draw broad conclusions constitutes false inductive reasoning.
