Product Planning or Product Marketing Difficulty
Question: "Which discipline is more difficult, product planning or product marketing?"
Both disciplines are difficult in their own right. Product planning requires a more formalized and deterministic mindset, while product marketing is more conceptual and probabilistic.
Product marketing is viewed as a very difficult business discipline because it attempts to foretell and alter human behavior, and therefore its outcome is most challenging and least predictable.
